Speaker's Bureau

Did you know that Habitat for Humanity Kansas City has a Speaker’s Bureau that will speak to community groups, schools, churches and more?  Speaker's Bureau is a group of volunteers, staff and homeowners who are trained on all aspects of Habitat for Humanity Kansas City. 

If you are interested in learning more about Habitat for Humanity Kansas City call or email the Volunteer Director.  Just let us know when, what specific topics you’d like covered and about how many people will be in attendence.

Speakers may be available any day of the week and if you have special requests, we will do our best to meet them. Specific topics you may want to highlight include:

   - Recycling Programs (Cans for Habitat)
   - Homeownership Program (how to own a Habitat home)
   - How to get involved and volunteer
   - AmeriCorps program
   - Family services (ways we work with families beyond simply building a home with them)
   - Youth programs
   - Fundraising ideas

Coloring Book This coloring book is designed for children 5-8 years old to introduce the issue of poverty housing. 
Coloring Book - Teacher's Edition Designed for those 5-8 years old, this coloring book can help introduce the concept of Habitat for Humanity and the issue of poverty housing. This parent/teacher's edition also gives an outline for a lesson plan to go along with the coloring book.
