Sales Floor Associate

Duties: Greeting, assisting, and answering customer questions about products and materials and communicating the Habitat for Humanity and Habitat ReStore mission. Requirements: Excellent interpersonal skills are a must. Friendly and helpful attitude and a love for talking with people! Basic knowledge of building material and bilingual ability helpful, but not necessary. Must be 16 years or older. Shifts: Must be scheduled for at least 3 hours/month, any time during store hours: Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Cashier

Duties: Manage the sales counter, key in sales on the cash register, complete hold and sold tags, act as a point of contact for customers, and maintain the sales counter area. Requirements: Friendly, helpful, positive attitude. Willingness to train on the cash register with an understanding of simple mathmatic operations. Customer relations experience helpful, but not necessary. Minimum 9 hours Sales Floor Associate experience required. Must be 18 years or older.
Shifts: Must be scheduled for at least 2 shifts of 3 hours/month, anytime during store hours: Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Outreach Specialist

Duties: Act as an agency representative for Habitat ReStore by arranging and giving informal presentations to neighborhood and homeowners’ associations and staffing information tables at area festivals and community events.
Requirements: Excellent communication skills, high level of comfort when speaking to groups or individuals and a clear understanding of Habitat for Humanity’s mission and how Habitat ReStore supports that mission. Access to reliable transportation and willingness to travel to and from event locations. Bilingual ability helpful, but not necessary. Must be 18 years or older.
Shifts: Commitment in advance for large events and on call or self-scheduling for small events.

Merchandise Collections Assistant

Duties: Assisting the Collections Driver in picking up donated materials, inspecting them for suitability, loading them into a truck, and completing field paperwork.
Requirements: Friendly and courteous attitude with the ability to lift 50 pounds. Familiarity with maps and the streets of the metro area helpful, but not necessary. Must be 18 years or older.
Shifts: On-call or regularly scheduled basis with a minimum 4-hour shift during the hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Warehouse Associate

Duties: Assisting in the unloading, preparation, stocking, and displaying of donated building materials.
Requirements: Ability to lift 25 pounds. Construction or merchandise display experience is helpful, but not necessary. Must be 16 years or older.
Shifts: Must be scheduled for at least 3 hours/month, any time during business hours: Tuesday through Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Some Mondays are available.

Receptionist

Duties: Answer incoming calls and route them to the appropriate office. Prescreen donations, record donor information, and submit to appropriate driver. Various office tasks, as assigned.
Requirements: Friendly and outgoing personality with the ability to spend a significant amount of time on the telephone. Knowledge of Habitat ReStore policies and procedures and the ability to convey those policies to customers in a polite and courteous manner. General office experience helpful, but not required.
Shifts: Must be scheduled for at least 3 hours/week, any time during business hours: Saturday ONLY 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Salvaged Lumber Denailer

Duties : Process nailed lumber completely through the denailing area.
Requirements: A general knowledge of basic hand tools and the ability to use power tools safely, is a must. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds at times. Must be 18 years or older.
Shifts: Must be scheduled for at least 3 hours/week, any time during business hours: Tuesday through Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Some Mondays are available.
